When Possibilities began, it wasn’t about hitting a number.
It started as a way to share stories from my book: stories about growth, courage, and creating a life that actually feels like yours. What I couldn’t have predicted was how quickly those stories would turn into nearly 100 conversations with women navigating leadership, reinvention, ambition, motherhood, money, wellness, and meaning in real time.
This post isn’t a highlight reel.
It’s a reflection.
Across 100 episodes, clear patterns kept showing up: the same lessons, the same reminders, the same truths we all need when life gets messy. Below, I’m pulling together those themes and pointing you directly to the episodes where they come to life.
If you’re new here, this is a beautiful place to begin.
If you’ve been listening for a while, consider this a guided re-listen.
There’s one question I’ve asked almost every guest on Possibilities:
“What would you tell your 30-year-old self?”
No matter the industry, generation, or background, the answers sound strikingly similar:
Relax. You’ll be fine. Trust yourself. Stop trying to control the outcome.
In Episode 1, Dr. Karen Latimer reminded us to talk to ourselves the way we would talk to our best friend.
In Episode 18, Jennifer Faherty shared that giving herself grace wasn’t a weakness; it was the turning point.
These conversations keep coming back to the same truth: compassion beats perfection every time.

Across the archive, one word appears again and again: pivot.
The courage to leave what looks good on paper for what feels true.
The willingness to start again, and not from failure, but from clarity.
Teresa Carotenuto talked about tuning out FOMO and trusting her timing.
Jacqueline Friedland left a high-profile legal career to become an award-winning author.
Emily Claire Hughes went from cruise-ship performer to creative entrepreneur, and reminded us what it means to bet on yourself.
These episodes aren’t about starting over.
They’re about starting aligned.

One of the clearest through-lines across Possibilities is this:
wellness is not optional.
Not as vanity.
As vitality.
Guests like Kathy D’Agati, Rosy McCann, Dani Spies, Liz Van Voorhis, Dr. Cindy Parnes, and Katie McDonald reframed self-care as the foundation for how we show up — not something we earn after burnout.
In Episode 90, Katie McDonald helped redefine productivity itself: it’s not about how much you do, but how well you feel while doing it.
In Episode 78, Rosy McCann reminded us that how we eat shapes how we live — at every stage.

Let’s talk about money because confidence with money is power.
In Episode 41, Sarah Beane Ricca reframed financial literacy as independence, agency, and choice.
In Episode 51, Teresa Bailey reminded us that legacy isn’t just about dollars — it’s about decisions and freedom.
These conversations dismantle the outdated narratives women carry about money and replace them with something far more useful: clarity and control.

The juggle is real, and it shows up everywhere.
In Episode 85, Aimee Leone and Jenn Hildreth (authors of Tough as a Mother) made us laugh, cry, and breathe a little easier by saying the quiet parts out loud.
Elizabeth Willets reframed “working like a mom” as a power move, not a penalty.
And in Episode 93, Kristen Fairback reminded us that honesty creates connection.
We don’t need perfect balance.
We need systems, empathy, and permission to be human.

Some of the richest conversations on Possibilities weren’t about business metrics at all.
They were about meaning.
Guests like Michele Parad, Liz Roberts, Sally Benner, Mary Lou Quinlan, and Hope Ogletree reminded us that influence is meant to be shared through time, talent, and treasure.
In Episode 91, Hope Ogletree distilled it perfectly: philanthropy isn’t about the size of the check, it’s about intentional giving.

Throughout the podcast, I’ve also highlighted women-led brands I genuinely use, love, and believe in. Not because they pay me (they don’t), but because they walk their talk.
Rather than duplicate that content here, I’ve created a separate, dedicated blog post where I share:

We are all works in progress.
We are all allowed to pivot.
We are all worthy of rest, wealth, joy, impact AND big, unapologetic lives.
This show exists because I didn’t have these conversations growing up, and I wanted you to have them in your ears, on your walks, and in the quiet moments where clarity shows up.

It truly helps this community grow.
Here’s to the next 100 conversations, and to creating a life you love.
With love, possibility & action,
